Meet Our Team
Julie knows that business growth is found in persistent determination. Having over 18 years experience and as an owner within the construction and finance sectors she takes care of the bottom-line for the team. For 10 years following her university studies in finance; she concentrated on bringing new innovations to Canada within various construction industries. Julie is fully dedicated in growing New Perspective Pools to become the leader in Western Canada while operating in a lean capacity.
Nick represents New Perspective Pools in the field while assuring a continuous quality control and respect for timelines. A 3rd Year apprentice Electrician, Nick found himself wanting to grow faster, which is what brought him out west. He was introduced to the Pool industry in 2003 and started as a laborer. With a lot of hard work, he quickly became the project manager for just under $5M in on-going aquatic construction jobs. Nick has impressed the industry with his abilities to design and build phenomenal mechanical rooms, such as for the University of Lethbridge (4500gpm) for example, which is known as the second largest build countrywide. Neat, efficient, organized and respectful are not descriptions you hear often in any construction business, but this is how most clients and general contractors describe Nick.
Having a BSC (with honors), Brian masters the technical aspects of our business. A deep knowledge of all the construction details, vast material components, design conceptions, costing and customer relations; Brian easily becomes the “go- to” person for our clients, suppliers and contractors’ needs. Brian is the link between the field and the office, therefore understands the importance of great communication. With over 13 years specifically in the Pool and Aquatic industry he has become very well known and, more so, highly respected from the major players.
Eric has been involved in various construction sectors for over 22 years. In the beginning, as a project manager within the concrete sector for 7 years he specialized in flat work and major landscaping projects. Shortly thereafter he became a general contractor for Lear Construction. Another 4 years passed, and then Eric was wooed into the pool industry for his concrete techniques (shotcrete), which are rare and looked upon as an art in itself. He started with Dominion Gunite (Calgary) Ltd. and within his 11-year relationship he became 50% owner and President for the better part of it’s growth. During his career, he also consulted on H-vac, poolroom finishes, pool mechanical, aquaparks/waterslides and waterscape projects throughout Western Canada.
